American beauty and lifestyle retailer Bath & Body Works has opened its first standalone store in the capital at Westfield London shopping centre.
The new store is a 2,357 sq ft space featuring the premium range of beauty products, from bath and bodycare to candles. The brand is joining the like of Sephora, SpaceNK, and Boots following recent expansions at the shopping centre.
Until now Bath & Body Works was only available at NEXT online and through concession-style spaces in its stores.
The brand is also planning to open a second store in London at Westfield Stratford in November.
Bath & Body Works was founded in 1990 with over 1,700 stores in the United States, and is famous for their scented body care items and signature fragrances.
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Leasing Director UK Kate Orwin said:“We’ve experienced a strong year so far in leasing at Westfield London, with increasing demand for upsizing and new store space as brands look to expand in strategic locations.
“This momentum builds upon the success of 2023, during which we welcomed over 80 new store openings across both Westfield centres.
“We anticipate further growth in the beauty, medical and wellness sectors throughout this year, as we continue in our commitment to creating best in class destinations and exceptional customer experiences.”
