LUSH Presents: Scent as Story – The Emotional Power Behind The Fragrances We Wear

LUSH has today hosted an exclusive evening exploring the deep connection between scent, memory, and narrative.

The panel discussion featured LUSH in-house perfumers Emma Vincent and Alina Gliwinska (creator of 'The Bee's Knees' perfume), Jennifer Mattei and Lee Howes, Fragrance Category Leads, and Jodi Francis-James, Creative Buyer for Essential Oils and Aromachemicals, with conversation led by beauty journalist and founder of Smart Beauty Creative, Viola Levy.

Florence Welke, Jonnie Hatfield were said panellists and the rest of the LUSH team made the night scent-sational.

The event was held at their stunning Perfume Library which opened its doors on Beak Street in Soho last year.

There was also a personalised 'scented tarot reading' (available in store) to find visitors' ideal scent, conducted by Lee Howes.

According to Viola and the panel, "fragrance isn't just about smelling good, it's about emotional transformation. People are increasingly using scent as a wellness tool and knowing the full journey of your ingredients changes everything about how one connects with a fragrance and how their bold sometimes completely unexpected combinations allow for much richer storytelling."
