The former U.S. Embassy is a Grade II listed building that is being transformed into a hotel and retail destination, designed by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will have 139-rooms, five restaurants, six shops, a spa, and a large ballroom.

Tobi Masa

Chef Masa Takayama has just ended his time at Harrods Dining Hall and now is opening a second London restaurant at the hotel, similar to his three-Michelin-starred restaurant in New York, featuring an omakase counter, a main dining room and a separate bar.

Carbone at Chancery Rosewood hotel

Opening Date: 17 September 2025

Popular New York Italian restaurant chain frequented by A-listers will be one of the main restaurants in the hotel.

Le Caprice - TBC

Opening Date: September 2025

Richard Caring is said to be re-opening Jeremy King's Le Caprice at the new Chancery Rosewood hotel but this is still to be confirmed.

 

Slayer

Two Twins Tacos

Aram

Eastern Mediterranean café, deli, shop and restaurant by Syrian chef, restaurateur and refugee Imad Alarnab making this his second restaurant. He also owns Imad's Syrian Kitchen (even hosted King Charles), which started as a pop-up. The restaurant is a co-venture with General Manager Michalis Ntais and chef Christos Georgogiannopoulos. Aram will have a more formal restaurant, Salamlik, towards the end of the year where it will also host supperclubs and cooking classes.

Neal's first UK restaurant by the people behind Pachamama are opening an Amsterdam import, a live-fire restaurant with a menu by chefs Hari Shetty and Ori Geller (ex Nobu in London and Mr Porter in Amsterdam). The menu features a raw bar and lots of vegetables, wood-fired pizza, grilled meat and seafood.

 

Gails - Streatham Hill

Art’otel Hoxton opens new restaurant on the 25th floor with 360- degree views. Chef Kenny Atkinson (of BBC’s Great British Menu and Michelin starred restaurants House of Tides and Solstice in Newcastle) will run the kitchen and focus on French and Mediterranean dishes alongside Head Chef Nicola Losquadro (ex Sucre, Mere Restaurant by Monica Galetti and The Oystermen Kitchen & Seafood Bar).

 

CÉ LA VI London

The modern Asian rooftop restaurant, bar and club by ADMO group, from 'Crazy Rich Asians' at the top of the famous Marina Bay Sands hotel, is opening in London, across two top floors of the new Renzo Piano building in Paddington Square. Downstairs there will be a bar and a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Upstairs they will have a private dining room, lounge area and cocktail bar. So it's going to be BIG. ADMO also own CLAP London and will open Mykonos restaurant Nammos in Mayfair next year.

 

Punk Royale - London

Punk Royale opens first permanent restaurant outside of Scandinavia after successful pop-up at Carousel, on the former Amethyst and London Stock space. Meant to look like a "brutal bistro" mixing fine-dining food with a party vibe and MEATliquor design style.

 

Noxy Brothers - Tottenham Court Road

Noxy Bros Coffee are opening a brand new store near Tottenham Court Road station.

 

Richoux

Address: 14-15 Langham Pl, London W1B 2QS

Opening Date: 15 September 2025

Cafe and patisserie Richoux closed during lockdown then opened a Piccadilly restaurant for a short time. It has now been bought by Big Belly Hospitality, who will reopen it as a Parisian-style cafe, on the former Pizzeria Mozza space. It will feature wood panelling, white marble tabletops and navy blue leather sofas. They are focusing on a wood-fired oven as well as patisserie and viennoiserie. A second Richoux is already being planned to open near Tower Bridge and then venture in Dubai and Saudi Arabia in 2026.

 

The Grill at the Dorchester

Re-opening Date: 15 September 2025

Chef Tom Booton leaves The Grill at The Dorchester (recently renamed to The Grill by Tom Booton) after six years of service, and now Martyn Nail (Executive Chef at Claridge's for 36 years) will be the new Culinary Director alongside Chef Jacob Keen-Downs (ex Gold in Notting Hill). 

 

Lagana

Pachamama group are transforming Pachamama East into a Greek-inspired restaurant, Lagana, switching from Peru to Mediterranean dishes, following the success of this change at Bottarga and Nina in Marylebone.Their Group Executive Chef, Tzoulio Loulai, will curate the menu alongside Brand Director, Yaroslava Malkova.

 

Luso

Contemporary Portuguese restaurant, developed by MJMK Restaurants in collaboration with Portuguese chef Leandro Carreira (of The Sea, The Sea), inspired by the Iberian Atlantic coastline, replacing Nuno Mendes' Lisboeta.

 

HUŎ - Belsize Village

Kudu Marylebone

Kudu Collective by husband and wife duo Amy Corbin and Patrick Williams (who also own Kudu, Kudu Grill and Curious Kudu) are closing their Peckham restaurants and taking over the old Aubaine restaurant to bring their South African-influenced dishes to central London.

 

The Elizabeth

The Ganymede is relaunching as The Elizabeth, by chef Anthony Demetre (of Michelin starred Wild Honey) with the menu inspired by his "bistronomy" roots.

 

Lilibet's

Mayfair’s newest seafood restaurant named after the late Queen Elizabeth as the royal address is actually her birthplace. This is the twelfth project from acclaimed restaurateur Ross Shonhan (Nobu, Zuma, Bone Daddies, Strawfire, Netsu), whohas partnered with the Russell Sage Group (Quaglino's, Petrus, Savoy Grill) for a Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring seasonal seafood. It will have an oyster bar, a fireside grill, a heated terrace and a cocktail bar.

 

One Under Lime - Slice-O-Rama

Michael Caines at The Stafford

Chef Michael Caines opens his first restaurant in London at the Stafford, following the departure of chef Lisa Goodwin Allen, as the group takes over his restaurant at Lympstone Manor where he won a Michelin star. He also held two stars at Gidleigh Park. Previously called The Game Bird, the new restaurant will offer an "elevated dining experience" and will feature a new tasting menu.

 

Liverpool Street Chophouse and Tavern

Opening Date: 17 September 2025

Evolv Group (formerly D&D) with new CEO Martin Williams (ex M group) are opening a new chop house on the former New Street Grill space. they also own Paternoster Chop House (rebranded as Vagabond .

Mike Reid, who was at M with Martin Williams (as well as Le Gavroche and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay), is leading the food here. The menu will embrce an old school approach, with dishes like "pea soope" from a 1669 recipe. There will also be a big focus on meat, of course, such as Barnsley lamb chop with anchovy dressing and beef shin & oyster suet pudding (although there will be an oyster section of the menu too). Steaks come from The Ethical Butcher and we like the sound of their team-up with the excellent Blenheim Forge - you'll be given the choice of one of six handcrafted steak knives before you start the main event.

 

Jude's Thai - Paddington

Alan Kai Ho, aka Tse, who runs Korean/Japanese restaurant Dotori in Finsbury Park, opens a second site, on the former The Pineapple Club space. It will be an intimate new Japanese izakaya restaurant across two-floors, including a terrace.

 

Labombe by Trivet

Jonny Lake (of Michelin-starred Trivet) and Isa Bal (one of the best sommeliers in the world) are launching a second site, turning the previous Labombe Wine Bar into a restaurant.

 

The Gant House x Mister Nice

American sportswear brand Gant opens 'The Gant House' immersive pop-up for a month exclusive takeover at French restaurant, Mister Nice to launch Fall/Winter 2025 campaign. Expect custom-made tableware and Mister Nice's dishes reinvented with a French/American twist. The space will transform into a collegiate clubhouse inspired by their East Coast roots and preppy heritage.

 

Aki - London

Opening Date: 20 September 2025

Grade II listed building which is a former bank is being transformed into a Japanese restaurant following a £15 million refurb by a Maltese restaurant group, with a sister Aki in Valletta. The former bank vault will now be transformed into a cocktail bar and there will also be a private banking room. They will serve a mix of classic sushi, robata and Kushiyaki dishes.

 

All’Antico Vinaio - London

London’s House of Entertainment opens Flagship in a Grade II-listed Art Deco building, for competitive gaming and premium dining. Menu is curated by Culinary Director Roger Olsson,  from Crispy Chicken Sliders with miso mayonnaise, to the iconic Clays “KFC” (Korean Fried Cauliflower). Behind the bar, maestro Jon Calabrese serves up signature cocktails, including clarified classics on tap, alongside seasonal serve.

 

Heard - Soho

Il Bambini Club - London

Italian trattoria from Paris, owned by restaurant group Paris Society (who also have Gigi, Louie and Maxims), comes to London at The Hoxton, making this their second international site.

 

Yard Sale Pizza - Battersea

Cult pizza place is opening their 15th site.

 

Bar Brasso

An all-day cafe and aperitivo bar by chef and restaurateur Robin Gill, next door to his Nine Elms restaurant, inspired by San Sebastian and Venice.

 

The Ivy - Northcote Road

Opening Date: 30 September 2025

The Ivy Collection opens new venue in the old bank building on Northcote Road, bringing relaxed yet sophisticated all-day dining to Battersea. The restaurant will be the brand's 44th site.

 

Kamara

Opening Date: 13 September 2025

Tasos Gaitanos and Alex Large, the founders of six Brother Marcus ventures, are opening a bespoke Eastern Mediterranean-inspired cocktail bar in Soho, in the former home of acclaimed bar The Blind Pig above Jason Atherton's Social Eating House. Cocktails list is curated by bar developer Angelos Bafas (bar manager at Nipperkin), made with macerated spirits, house ferments and wild-foraged British produce. Food menu includes snacks and Eastern-Med mezze. The 83-cover venue is designed by Finch Studio, with Cretan pottery accents, bronze detailing, and a cave-like ceiling.
