Superdrug opens largest UK store in London

Health and beauty retailer Superdrug opens new flagship store at Westfield London, White City, as part of its rapid bricks-and-mortar wider growth strategy, aiming to launch 25 new stores across the UK in 2025.

The new 9,100 square feet offers a comprehensive selection of healthcare and beauty products, daily toiletries, beauty treatments, and luxury fragrances. It is one of the 30 Superdrug destinations nationwide to feature the innovative Beauty Playground concept, a hub for beauty discovery, to test latest products, trial with new brands, receive expert guidance from trained brand ambassadors, and creation spaces, with social stations with ring lights.

It also includes a Beauty Studio, for professional treatments like eyebrow shaping, lash extensions, nail services, and piercings, at affordable prices and available without an appointment.

Customers can also access a new nurse-led aesthetic clinic, which offers treatments such as travel vaccinations and Botox.

The new store also boasts a premium fragrance counter and digital screens for a high-value advertising platform for its suppliers.

British-Turkish reality television personality, actress and model, Ekin Su cut the ribbon for the opening and greeted visitors.

For the launch Superdrug parked a pink bus outside the shopping centre’s entrance, to offer insta-worthy moments and ‘Paint White City Pink’.

The large international skincare range available includes Superdrug’s largest-ever display of its exclusive cosmetics brand, Troublemaker, as well as its own-brand cosmetics range, Studio London, alongside best-sellers such as B. Skin, Me+, Vitamin E, and Optimum.

Shoppers can also sign up for Superdrug’s Health & Beautycard and VIP Rewards to collect points to redeem on future purchases, with exclusive offers available for cardholders, including lower member prices, bonus point offers, birthday treats, and the option to pay with points.
