NYC-inspired cocktail bar from Bart & Taylor hospitality group and bartender Angelos Bafas (aka @mr.ungarnished of Nipperkin bar and the Kioku Sake Bar). Named after NYC's first celebrity bartender, Alexander Cato, it focuses on classic cocktails, community, seasonality, and minimal waste, with British spirits used in the basement "Hyper" bar. The space is divided in three parts: The House of Julep on the ground floor, serving cocktails made with herbs grown on-site, the main bar downstairs, inspired by synaesthesia, and the Study, hosting events such as pop-ups and masterclasses. They will focus on "elevated American classics" for the food menu.
