Taste of London Takes Over the Capital with New ‘Taste of the City’ Series

From Michelin-starred menus and chef collaborations to immersive masterclasses and one-night-only dining experiences, Taste of London is expanding beyond Regent’s Park with an exciting new citywide programme.

For food lovers, June in London has long meant one thing: Taste of London. But this year, the capital’s most celebrated food festival is extending its reach far beyond Regent’s Park with the launch of Taste of the City, a week-long programme of exclusive culinary experiences taking place across London from 15–21 June 2026.

Created by the team behind Taste of London, the new initiative shines a spotlight on the restaurants, chefs and hospitality talent that make London one of the world’s most exciting dining destinations. The citywide series invites guests to step inside some of the capital’s most sought-after venues for unique, limited-edition events ranging from chef’s tables and collaborative dinners to hands-on cooking masterclasses and expertly curated food and drink pairings.

The programme reflects the diversity and creativity of London’s restaurant scene, offering experiences for everyone from adventurous foodies and wine enthusiasts to fine dining devotees.

Among the standout events is a seven-day culinary residency at Rondo, where seven different chefs will each take over the kitchen for a day, presenting menus inspired by their personal heritage and culinary journeys.

At Lilli by Akira Back, guests can explore innovative wine and sake pairings alongside Korean-inspired dishes crafted with Japanese precision, while Pavyllon London offers the chance to experience a Michelin-starred menu from one of the city’s most acclaimed dining rooms.

For those looking to sharpen their culinary skills, ArrosQD will host immersive Valencian paella masterclasses, giving guests an opportunity to learn authentic techniques and flavours directly from the experts.

Meanwhile, Eataly is inviting aspiring home cooks to roll up their sleeves for a summer Italian cooking class featuring fresh pasta and a classic dessert.

Chet’s at The Hoxton in Shepherd’s Bush will transform its terrace into a bustling Bangkok-inspired night market complete with live-fire barbecue, Thai-American dishes and inventive cocktails.

Fire-cooking specialist Cinder presents a sharing menu curated by head chef Alex Mackey, showcasing the dishes that have shaped his culinary career.

Milk Beach will pair its signature Australian-inspired small plates with carefully selected Australian wines, while seafood destination The Melusine partners with English sparkling wine producer Nyetimber for a six-course tasting experience celebrating Britain’s coastal bounty.

For a more relaxed but equally refined affair, Albie is championing the simple pleasures of artisan breads, cultured butters and European wines, while Roka brings together its signature Japanese dishes in a sophisticated multi-course dining experience finished with mochi and bubbles.

Sustainability also plays a key role in the programme. Michelin Green Star restaurant Apricity, led by chef Chantelle Nicholson, will host a seasonal four-course lunch in collaboration with London’s Blackbook Winery, showcasing responsible sourcing and thoughtful cooking.

Meanwhile, Nipotina will celebrate the freshness of coastal cuisine through a menu inspired by Italian traditions and exceptional produce from the British Isles.

The launch of Taste of the City comes alongside the return of the flagship Taste of London Festival, which takes place in Regent’s Park from 17–21 June 2026. The five-day event will once again transform the park into a culinary playground, featuring more than 30 restaurants, over 130 signature dishes and 160 artisan producers.

New restaurant additions for 2026 include Italian favourite Harry’s, Basque-inspired gastropub Prince Arthur Belgravia, and contemporary Mexican restaurant Ixchel, alongside newcomers such as Rottura, DakaDaka, Gallio, Sexy Fish, and Pahli Hill Bandra Bhai.

Together, Taste of London and the new Taste of the City programme offer an unprecedented opportunity to explore the cultural richness of London’s dining scene. Whether it’s a Michelin-starred lunch, a hands-on cooking class or a late-night feast inspired by Bangkok street markets, this year’s celebration promises to bring the capital’s culinary community closer to diners than ever before.
