ROCCO Launches in UK with Neurocosmetic Skincare Range

New skincare brand ROCCO will launch exclusively in Boots stores on 17 June, introducing a range built around what the brand describes as a “neurocosmetic” approach, combining skincare ingredients with sensory-focused formulations resulting in mood-boosting skincare.

Founded by broadcaster, creative and entrepreneur Laura Jackson, ROCCO was created in response to increasingly complicated skincare routines and products that, according to Jackson, had become more focused on achieving results than creating an enjoyable experience.

The brand is aimed at consumers who understand skincare ingredients but may feel overwhelmed by extensive routines. Its products combine plant-based ingredients, clinically supported actives and sensory elements, with a focus on making skincare feel more like an everyday ritual.

A key part of the concept is FaceFeels, ROCCO’s proprietary fragrance developed using Aroma Wellness technology so that feeling good is part of the formula. The brand says the sensory element is designed to support the emotional side of the skincare experience, alongside the products’ functional benefits.

“ROCCO came from a very real place, I was using products that promised everything, but none of them made me feel good,” said Jackson. “Skincare had started to feel overwhelming, overly complicated and, at times, quite joyless.”

“I wanted to create something that brought it back to basics, products that are credible and effective, but also uplifting to use. Because how you feel in your skin is just as important as how it looks.”

The launch range includes the Soft Reset Foaming Cleanser (£16, 120ml), formulated with baobab, probiotics and arugula extract to cleanse while supporting hydration and the skin barrier.

The Triple Up Hydrating 3-in-1 Toner & Primer (£16, 30ml) combines baobab, hyaluronic acid and fractionated coconut oil. Designed to work as both a toner and primer, it hydrates the skin while preparing it for makeup.

The Sunshine Dew Glow Essence (£18, 30ml) contains baobab, saccharide isomerate and lactic acid and is designed to support hydration, skin balance and radiance.

The wider launch collection also includes the TLC Melt Hydrating Balm Cleanser and Cloud Bounce Hydrating Moisturiser.

Full range:

• Soft Reset Foaming Cleanser – £16.00, 120ml
• Triple Up Hydrating 3-in-1 Toner & Primer – £16.00, 30ml
• Sunshine Dew Glow Essence – £18.00, 30ml

• Glow Rest Baobab Hydrogel Face Mask – £6.00, single pack

ROCCO is also placing an emphasis on refillable packaging, transparency and sustainability, alongside a community-led approach that aims to involve consumers in the development and conversation around the brand.
