American Vintage Opens New Store in London

American Vintage is expanding its London presence with the opening of a new store on Redchurch Street, marking the brand’s 11th London location and 12th store in the UK.

Located between Brick Lane and Shoreditch High Street, Redchurch Street is known for its independent boutiques, eateries and creative atmosphere, making it a natural fit for the French fashion brand’s latest location.

The new store opened to the public today with a special breakfast by Miel Bakery, alongside the opportunity to discover the exclusive Bonjour London T-shirt. Visitors can also receive a complimentary American Vintage tote bag. The opening offer runs from today through tomorrow.

Designed as a flagship-style lifestyle space, the store spans two floors and takes a more fluid approach to its layout. Menswear is distributed across both levels rather than being confined to one floor, creating a more flexible shopping experience.

The design combines the building’s original architecture, including its brick façade, with contemporary American Vintage elements. Light installations and a distinctive light box guide visitors through the space, while a brightly lit staircase connects the two floors.

A pale yellow shade, first introduced by American Vintage in Barcelona, features prominently across the exterior and parts of the interior. The colour also appears in a curated selection of T-shirts displayed within the store.

The project places an emphasis on local and European craftsmanship, with UK-based paint artisans contributing to the space and materials and elements selected with a focus on proximity and authenticity.

The Redchurch Street opening adds another location to American Vintage’s growing London network, while introducing the brand’s retail concept to one of East London’s established creative neighbourhoods.
