Green & Spring Brings The English Garden To Your Home

Green & Spring introduces a touch of British Countryside to beauty routine. Made by nature. Bottled by Green & Spring. Inspired by and created in the British countryside.

The 'Restore' range

The saying goes, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. But this Green & Spring breaks that rule, with its utterly divine packaging that houses a product underneath that is just that.

The Background

Green & Spring was born from the group's own spa in Cowley Manor, and it's this background and experience that is leveraged to create an indulgent and luxurious collection of natural products for the body and home.

The products are manufactured and developed by the brand itself in Somerset, one of the few privately owned skincare brands to do so, specialising in unique and natural botanical formulations. The independence grants them the ability to be meticulous in their approach to detail, and guaranteeing freshness and quality.

Green & Spring also supports the the ‘wildcrafted’ beauty movement and uses ingredients foraged sustainably from the countryside. There is a real appreciation and commitment to traditional British values, also demonstrated through the development process and high-quality production. Even the distinctive bottle is a reflection of this. It's sophisticated yet simple, and celebrates aspects of British nature from the famous weather to wildflowers and weeds.

The 'Relax' range

Their elegant capsule collection of cruelty-free bath and body products provides customers with an everyday sanctuary. The whole range takes customers from mundane reality to the scented English garden, through the use of luxuriously scented blends of distinctive flowers.

If you're a fan of that aroma, you'll adore this - think herb garden, or running through a hundred acres of heavenly British countryside. In a British manner, of course.

The real key to the elegance in the scents and luxury in their bath and body care is pure natural oils and 100% natural, wild crafted plant extracts. The precious ingredients have been used for centuries, and are scientifically proven to be good for the body and the soul with their remarkable restorative properties. The products cleanse the body and relax the mind to replicate the spa experience from home.

History of the brand

The 'Revitialise' range

Green & Spring was created by Jessica and Peter Frankopan over 25 years ago and it was,  tailor-made for their spa, hotels and guests - the bath, body and skincare lines representing the best of the British countryside while caring for the environment.

About the Founder -  Jessica Frankopan

Jessica is passionate about sustainability, and was determined to bring this ethos to the beauty industry

Fun Fact: Jessica and Peter are also founders of the adorable collection, A Curious Group of Hotels – it includes the fabulous Cowley Manor with its multi award-winning C-Side Spa in the Cotswolds, the original ‘boutique hotel' The Portobello in London, the world-famous L’Hôtel on Paris’ Rive Gauche, and the sumptuous Canal House in Amsterdam.

Another fun fact (don’t you just love these?): Jessica’s favourite colour is purple, hence its incorporation into the main logo - previously a range of small birds, but now a single meadow pipit!

More on sustainability

The brand is devoted to sustainability and ‘field to face’ philosophy.

All Green & Spring products are free from parabens, SLS, SLES, PEGS, glycols, petrochemicals, synthetic colours, and fragrances, and they don't test on animals. The ingredients they use have a low or zero environmental impact and are ethically sourced. All materials are processed and distilled on site, 80% carbon neutral in production, soon to be 100% by the end of 2022.

Their new bottles are manufactured in the British Isles from 100% Post-Consumer Recycled Plastic (PCR), which is primarily recovered plastic/single use items usually destined for landfill.

Here’s hoping many other British beauty brands soon follow suit.

A couple of our favourites

If you’re new to the brand, the Revitalise Body Lotion is a great entry point - we think it's gorgeous. It's made using shea butter, thyme, and essential oils of peppermint and fennel. It's great for youthful, toned, and positively glowing skin, with wonderful lingering floral scents to enjoy for hours after.

The candles and diffusers are also on our winning list. They are packaged in beautiful powder grey recycled card boxes, and hand tied with string and a sprig of herbs.

Our final take

Green & Spring has a lot to love and admire. Proud to be a British-born brand, their products remain true to their vision - uniquely, authentically, and exquisitely building a sensory experience in a bottle. They encourage a 'living in the present' mentality, enjoying the moments through the scents, and it's a philosophy that its customers buy into with confidence and trust.

In the crowded world of beauty and body care, it's the purity of the products, the uniqueness of the scents, and dedication to sustainability that consumers find true value in - and Green & Spring remain steadfastly committed to delivering this British excellence.

You can find the collection at any of the group's hotels, and also online to bring the spa to your own home.
