Lalaland Lands in Shoreditch, Offering Streetfood, Cocktails, & An Exotic Escape From The Capital

Dinerama’s much-mourned demise has paved the way for something possibly even better in its place. Lalaland has made quite the entrance into the Shoreditch scene, with 15 streetfood stalls, 4 bars, live music and entertainment – and, of course, the luxury of a waterfall.

As a dining experience, spoilt for choice would be an understatement at Lalaland. The streetfood vendors’s offerings range from meat feasts with Fireyard BBQ and ‘hot and sexy’ rotisserie chicken with Hot Chixx, to spectacularly fresh sushi courtesy of Bel Air Sushi and deliciously aromatic GuaBao buns.

There’s RockIT's Indian streetfood on the bill, alongside Little Pasta Co and Tukka Burgers. And if that isn’t enough, there’s tacos, chicken wings, and so much more. One thing’s for sure – no one leaves Lalaland hungry.

You can wash all the delicious food down with a wide beverage selection from one of the many watering holes in the venue – and indeed with dessert. For anyone with a sweet tooth, a stop at Cakes & Shakes is not to be missed - their luxuriously dense milkshakes are guaranteed bliss.

The 25,000 sq ft urban oasis is fully equipped with palm trees, living walls, and (in case you missed it) a waterfall, transporting you away from the vicinity of a grey Old Street roundabout to an exotic land of lounges, roof terraces, and eclectic entertainment with an electric vibe.

There’s also a full line up of DJs and acts ready to be announced, so stay tuned for more on Lalaland’s site coming soon.

You can find Lalaland at 17-19 Great Eastern Street, EX2A 3EJ. It’s open from midday each day to 23:30 on Monday to Thursday, 00:00 on Friday and Saturday, and 22:30 on Sunday – that’s brunch, lunch, and dinner taken care of.
