From luxury gifting to decadent dining, Dior promises to delight the senses this festive season.
The opening of the Dior Café in Harrods has rapidly topped Londoners' must-dos this Christmas. Adorned with fashionably festive décor, it serves up sophisticated French cuisine with a familiar British twist. The gingerbread-themed space, inspired by the fairy-tale house of Hansel and Gretel, feels distinctively Dior: think luxurious toile de Jouy seating and picture-perfect tableware embellished with the maison’s Cannage motif.
Naturellement, the café serves fabulousness from morning to night. Hungry shoppers can stop in for a breakfast of smoked-salmon and caviar omelette or a selection of pastries, or an elegant lunch of Cornish crab with crisp green apple. For celebratory suppers, the likes of Atlantic lobster Thermidor is on offer, served with a zippy yuzu vinaigrette and roasted chestnut velouté with winter chanterelles and black truffle.
A tip - leaving room for dessert is a must. The poached-pear baba with ginger crème is worth the trip alone, while the feather-light Christmas tree honey cake is as elegant as it is delicious. And it's all pairable with a warming cup of hot chocolate or one of the spectacular signature cocktails.
The icing on the gingerbread? Taking home a little piece of Dior is possible in the form of irresistible gingerbread biscuits. There's a choice between the iconic Book Tote, Saddle and Lady Dior bags, or the J’adore perfume, Oblique suit and 30 Montaigne plaque – ideal gifts for any fashion lover.
Elsewhere in the world-famous Knightsbridge address, The Fabulous World Of Dior has set up glamp - and it's transformed its residence like never before. Behind its gilded doors, mesmerized shoppers can stroll through a series of immersive in-store pop-ups that take them on a magical journey through the maison's history.
And if you aren't able to visit the store, the Dior Gifting Boutique offers a virtual shopping experience to rival the magic of the Terracotta Palace.
