Junkyard Golf Club, the original mavericks of crazy golf, have officially launched in Camden, and they've taken the game to an electrifying new level. The new London venue has been transformed into a weird and wonderful playground, taking enthralled visitors on a twisted journey into the parallel world to face their fears and lose their heads…
The brand new hotspot has become home to psychotic creepy clowns, cage-fighting grizzly bears, auto-junk disco dens, and basement horror raves. The innovative team has spared no expense in creating a jaw-dropping world of 'over-the-top junk,' featuring crashed planes, burnt-out cars, and a spine-chilling horror-inspired rave course, nestled in the basement.
There’s four creatively mashed-up courses to explore, along with an epic 20-cocktail menu to help navigate past features such as the terrifying carousel filled with fairground junk surrounded by barbed wire and creepy characters.
Situated right in the heart of Camden’s legendary market, the venue offers more than just a crazy golf experience. There’s 4 bars, a huge hangout area with neon seating, booths, disco lighting, and an entire wall of classic arcade games. There’ll be 4 arcade-style karaoke booths (including one set up inside a VW camper), and the launch of WILDCAT, a twist on a retro American diner right inside the venue.
The launch event, set to take place on Friday 1st September promises a night full of epic cocktails, a whole load of weird junk, and unforgettable entertainment, celebrated with an array of famous faces and in collaboration with charity Love Support Unite. The event will bring together a mega lineup of well-known celebrities and influential personalities as well as launching the rebranding of Love Support Unite’s Love Specs -a heart-shaped pair of glasses that turn every light into a rainbow.
Notable names who will be attending the launch include Rudimental, Umbrella-Academy’s Tom Hopper, Dancing on Ice's Colin Grafton, Olympic Champion gold medallist Matty Lee, Reality star Courtney Veale, Actor Amber Doig-Thorne, TikTok sensation Eden Harvey-Hulme, Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei, and MTV DJ and presenter Becca Dudley [who will be performing on the night].
