Fred Sirieix to Host Science-Backed Endorphin Shop with Neilson Beach Clubs

Neilson Beach Clubs, the award-winning active holiday company, is launching a summer pop-up shop with feel-good TV personality Fred Sirieix, curated to give visitors a boost in endorphins with a wide array of activities.

The Neilson Beach Clubs Endorphin Shop  has been scientifically curated to give visitors a boost in endorphins with a wide array of activities.

Fred Sirieux has been appointed GEO (Good Energy Officer) and will welcome visitors into the Soho pop-up and walk them through the different ways they can optimise the brain-chemical enhancing suite of energetic activities.

Visitors can expect the Endorphin Shop to boost their mood with offerings including Vitamin D drips, spin bikes, edibles made of endorphin-boosting superfoods, massages, an audio erotica booth, yoga sessions, and an indoor Pickleball court where visitors can challenge Andy Murray’s former tennis coach Mark Petchey to a game, to be in with the chance of winning a free Neilson Beach Clubs holiday in 2024.

The pop-up has been created in response to new research from Neilson Beach Clubs showing that 87% of people feel the drumbeat of bad news coupled with inflation has had an impact on their energy this summer, with 18-34 y/os especially affected, reporting 59% are really concerned about the state of the world. Almost half the population (49%) feel that the summer of 2023 so far has been worse than previous summers in terms of having fun. 42% have spent the majority of summer watching Netflix, 28% sat in pubs, and 25% playing video games, reflecting the general lethargy uncovered in the 2,000 person strong survey.

Inspired by the research, the brand has partnered with expert endocrinologist Dr Rowan Hardy from Birmingham University to prescribe a series of endorphin-boosting activities in a bid to give visitors a taste of good energy with a packed agenda of endorphin-boosting sports, emulating the feel-good activities offered on a Neilson Beach Clubs holiday. Covering destinations across Greece, Croatia and Sardinia the brand offers guests an unrivalled all-activity inclusive experience, including a timetable of activities across the shore and on land such as water skiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, pickleball and fitness studio sessions.

Feel good TV personality and GEO (Good Energy Officer) at Neilson Beach Clubs, Fred Sirieix said:

“I’ve partnered with Neilson Beach Clubs to drive forward that Good Energy feeling across their Beach Club destinations, and I’m excited to push forward this endorphin-infused drive to show people how to get their fix of good energy through their active holidays. Come down to the Endorphin Shop to get a taste of what Neilson Beach Clubs are all about, and I guarantee that you will leave feeling energised!”

Dr Rowan Hardy, endocrinologist at Birmingham University, commented:

“Sustained exercise, such as spin cycling, has been proven to significantly increase opioid levels, while activities such as massages and ingesting pleasurable foods like chocolate have all been indicated to enhance release and boost mood. The aim of these carefully combined activities is to promote the release of the body’s most active and best understood ‘beta endorphin’ to leave visitors feeling invigorated and happier than when they arrived.”
