From 28th November to 22nd December 2023, you can celebrate Chouffemas with Belgium’s beer of choice Chouffe as they take over festive French bistro, Boro Bistro in Borough Market for a very special dining experience.
This limited-time collaboration kickstarts the merry season with a menu created to complement the bright and sumptuous flavours of Chouffe beers. Expect to be transported to the French Alps through moreish food, beer and of course, the appearance of the iconic gnomes - Marcel and Micheline!
Guests can indulge in an array of dishes including a Chouffe Cheese Board with truffle Brie, Comté, cured ham, rosette, baguette, crackers, and carrot crisps, as well as Marcel's Bistro Burger with French fries drizzled with truffle oil! Vegetarians can relish in the flavours of Marcel's Veggie Burger, made from a quinoa and beetroot patty paired with melted goat cheese accompanied with a side of sweet potato fries. For pudding, Micheline’s Delight - a delicious treat consisting of apple sticky toffee with caramel sauce and apple sorbet.
For those seeking the ultimate Chouffemas experience, a set menu priced at £38 per person (minimum 2 people) is available. The menu includes a board to share, your choice of burger, fries, Micheline's Delight dessert, and, of course, a refreshing Chouffe beer.
And what’s more, the elves have even more treats up their sleeves. You’ll receive an iconic Chouffe hat when you buy any Chouffe beer at the Bistro, and with two or more beers, you’ll be treated to a limited-edition Chouffe ornament – all while stocks last, so book in here ASAP!
You can find Boro Bistro at 6-10 Borough High St, London SE1 9QQ, open Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 to 23:00 (with a gap in food service between 15:00 and 18:00 Tuesdays to Thursdays), and Sunday from 12:00 to 21:00.
