THE GARDEN BAR OPENS IN BROMLEY

NEW HOTSPOT: AN OASIS IS BLOOMING IN EAST LONDON

When you imagine an oasis, do you think of an archway of flowers, cocktails in the sunshine, sumptuous food and music? If so, then you are in luck, as one just opened up in South East London on the 28th of May. This is a straight-up local Bar that does everything – food, drink, atmosphere, indoor, outdoor – absolutely right.

Opening a new drinking spot on the site of a beloved local pub can be a tricky affair. But the guys behind Bromley’s new oasis The Garden Bar have done an excellent job! Retaining the pub’s historical structure and welcoming vibe – and adding a bright, airy, pine-lined smoking yard along with a captivating food menu and drinks such as Strawberry Mojito and Pina Colada!

At heart, The Garden Bar is a cool, fairly affordable local bar for local people. It just happens to get everything spot on. You might even rub shoulders with celebrities and influencers.

Located to the rear of the famous The Royal Bell building on Bromley High St, it has outdoor space that can accommodate 400 guests, with terraces on three levels, one of which is a roof terrace.

As you walk in you see a beautiful flower tunnel walkway leading to the terrace.

Insidethe building itself you will find quirky details, which we loved, like a swing, animal themed rugs, colourful furniture and more.

Food traders: Argentinian Grill, Butchers Grill and Wok and Grill UK for burgers, steaks, ribs, wings, and Asian classics.

The Garden Bar’s is open on weekends (Friday – Sunday) until July. More to be announced soon!
