There’s another exciting new vegan treat hitting London Soho and Manchester this week, for a very limited time. Mexican Maestros Chilango have teamed up with the Junk Food Gods at Biff’s to create a limited-edition plant-based Jackfruit Chilli Cheeze Fry Burrito, with a portion of sales donated to #CookForUkraine.
Known fondly as the ‘Carburrito’, the indulgent, 100% plant-based creation comprises of Baked Fries, Black Beans, Biff’s Braised Jackfruit Brisket Chilli, fresh Pico de Gallo salsa, Biff’s Cheeze Sauce and Chipotle Crema. If you’re a hot spice lover, a healthy helping of the Chilango habanero hot sauce is perfect to heat things up!
And if you aren’t a fan of food in burrito form, this jackfruit masterpiece is also available as a hotbox. Both are available for eat in, takeaway, or delivery – vegan goodness for any time and occasion!
The Jackfruit Chilli Cheeze Fry Burrito came to life as result of a lunch hack burrito Instagram post from Biff’s, which led to the resounding calls to turn this into a reality. The Chilango team, already a fan of Biff’s, heard this loud and clear – and the rest, they say, is history.
