The London Cabaret Club Brings Best of British Pop Back to Bloomsbury

The London Cabaret Club is back with a relaunch of The Best of British Pop, an innovative musical celebration of the UK's greatest. Combining elegant fine dining with world-class performances and a five-star service, it steps up the game for its sentimental spectators and provides a true celebration of the rich heritage of British culture, in a spectacularly fun, dazzling, and memorable night.

With music at its heart, the night is full of absolute floorfilling hits. Each act takes on two decades worth of crowd-pleasers, with features by British superstars from The Kinks and David Bowie to George Michael and, yes, The Spice Girls. The final act ventures into more recent times, with Amy Winehouse, Ed Sheeran, and Mark Ronson taking centre stage.

The night proves why The LCC performances are world renowned. The choreography is creative, the vocals well executed, and the costumes really something to write home about. But there’s also acrobatics and hoops, and even a dog(!) The laser performance is a highlight of the night, and a real do-not-miss.

The somewhat unspoken expectation of cabaret food is that it is just ok. At The LCC, nothing could be further, with a menu that reads (and tastes) like one with Michelin stars. Depending on the chosen menu, starters include Goat Cheese Tartlet with Pickled Beetroot, and Chilled Crab Salad with Pureed Avocado & Cod Roe, while mains include Herb Crusted Cannon of Lamb with Sweet Potato Puree, and Pan-roasted Lemon Sole with Fondant Potato. The food is delicious and portions are generous, and the cocktail menu is definitely worth a look.

Ticket options are tiered as Silver (£50), Gold (£90), Diamond (£125), and Royal Diamond (£165). Options have different menus and pre-show entertainment inclusion, and for the upper tiers, there are also canapés and champagne, as well as VIP seating.

Best of British Pop runs until 30th July, on Thursdays (from 14th Apr), Fridays and Saturdays, at The Bloomsbury Ballroom.
