The exclusive MJB x Ellesse capsule drop is one for the calendar later this month. The luxury streetwear designer has partnered with the Italian sport apparel heavyweights to create an impressive collection that captures fashionable comfort with a premium look, feel, and presence.
Marc Jacques Burton is no stranger to skilfully navigating the perfect balance between authentic luxury and true street wear. In fact, for the British-Italian brand, they are one and the same. The designer offers a unique punk-rock take in this latest collaboration, inspired by his love of glam rock and all things Mick Jagger.
There’s a lack of inhibition in the creative colours and cuts, and ingenious simplicity that compliments the essence of Ellesse’s casual classics - with the highly sought-after MJB twist.
The new additions comprise of t-shirts, crop tees, and joggers prominently featuring the signature black, yellow, and white colour scheme (and pink too for the women’s), as well as jackets and hoodies to finish off the look. The distinctive paint-drip design makes for an eye-catching set, and the quality of the pieces is unmistakable.
The Ellesse x MJB collaboration also pays homage to Ellesse's history in sportswear, with classic silhouettes like the Ellesse track top and pants reimagined by MJB. There’s also accessories in play, with caps taking centre stage with matching designs.
Of course, the launch was kicked off in true style with exclusive DJ sets, personalisation stations, and a live performance by Jnr Choi to mark the occasion. Apart from good fashion, MJB and Ellesse also know how to throw a good party.
