Icelandair Opens ‘Around the Corner’ Immersive Experience in Soho

Icelandair has teamed up with Business Iceland, Blue Lagoon, and 66°North to offer us a taste (literally) of Iceland, through a series of free events at their pop-up in Soho.

Thimmersive experience will bring the best of Iceland to London over a three-day stay at Phonica Records on Poland Street. The pop-up offers a multi-room experience that takes the traveller through freezing glaciers and warm lagoons, heated by lava deep beneath the earth. There's the opportunity to discover your Icelandic name, and even a first-class lounge to relax in after all the exploration.

There's also tasty treats on offer - the pop-up will also host a Michelin chef straight from Iceland to cook tasty treats for visitors to top off the snowy expedition.

Visitors will also be able to spin the wheel for the chance to win some huge prizes, including being entered a draw for an incredible trip to Iceland.

The 3-day event schedule will feature:

  • Friday: DJ Q&A with Hermigervill plus photo exhibition and talk from photographer Benjamin Hardman,
  • Saturday: Blue Lagoon Sound Bath (led by Kamilla Ingibergsdóttir) and Spirit of Iceland party
  • Sunday: Family day with fun activities.

No 3 hour flight needed - a taste of Iceland is just Around the Corner! You can find the pop-up at Phonica Records, 51 Poland Street, London W1F 7LZ from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 October. Tickets are free, and bookable through here.
