To establish themselves in the immersive virtual world of Metaverse, McCain, the frozen potato company, has partnered with Roblox and Bored & Hungry to bring consumers a taste of McCain 'Regen' Fries, physically and virtually.
Regen Fries are an environmentally friendly potato product, made with potatoes that are grown using regenerative farming methods that build soil health, improve biodiversity, and enhance on-farm resilience to climate change.
McCain x Bored & Hungry: Regen Fries Pop-Up
Bored & Hungry, NFT/cryptocurrency-themed fast food restaurant, will serve Regen Fries at its flagship location in Long Beach, California from 28 October to 18 November 2022. Pop-ups will also appear in London on 3-4 November and Toronto on 16-18 November 2022.
McCain x Roblox: Farms of the Future
Created to educate younger audiences, the #SaveOurSoil campaign created with Gravity Road features a free game called Farms of the Future, integrated into popular Roblox title Livetopia.
The game encourages you to grow potatoes virtually using regenerative practices such as planting cover crops, encouraging biodiversity or integrating livestock through rotational grazing, for which you then get rewarded.
