There she rises! THE PHOENIX! Bringing on a summer of epicurean alfresco excellence and the start of the new ‘good times’, people.

Whether you’re in the mood for pizza in the sun or burger by starlight, this urban paradise will have you covered. Either way: you’re getting fed and watered. Just be sure to book ahead, ok?! A lot of people are going to want to eat, drink and be merry here.

Plus, they have a generous opening offer: £20 Bar Tab giveaway on their Instagram page: The Phoenix London

The new concept opened on the 1st of July in Westfield White City on the old Jamie’s Italian site and is the second venture from the team behind The Hawk’s Nest (up and coming street food hidden beneath a railway arch by Shepherd’s Bush Market, opened last year).

The venue has a capacity for 400 seated guests in the outdoor terrace, and another 250 indoors and is open until midnight on Monday to Saturday.

Will Fuller is co-director and Lottie Bedford is Marketing Manager so now we know who to thank.

This chic outdoor terrace is ladened with flowers and vines, bordered by fresh foliage and olive trees, and has a transparent and heated roof that shields diners from summer sun, windy clouds, rainy days or winter cold. Being amongst all the real flowers and plants makes you feel like in a real English garden.

The Phoenix is also bringing the outdoors indoors: a garden atmosphere is created inside the restaurant through draping flowers, festoon lights and indoor plants and fresh flowers, making it a fun space focused more around events.

Venture inside for an array of events and live entertainment / music on every evening of the week and relax amongst the artworks. Expect a mix of DJs sets, live music every Wednesday, comedy nights and quizzes during the week.

What’s more, go through the restaurant, past the kitchen and through the double doors onto the exclusive cookery school.

Now for the saucy part…THE FOOOOOD!!!

Sip premium Mexican-inspired cocktails while scoffing a mixture of International street food and an array of vegetarian and vegan options.
