We joined MUA Nadira V Persaud and personal stylist Abbey Booth in the beautiful surroundings of the Victorian Bathhouse, a true haven in the City, for an evening of physical and mental nourishment.
Equipped with bubbles and bites, we were taken through a journey of style, beauty, and the path to self-confidence.
Our speakers touched upon topics such as sustainable fashion, introducing us to clean concepts like rentable wardrobes from providers like Onloan, demonstrating the versatility of style available. Misty Reich offered us her insights as a motivational expert on confidence, basing stories on her experiences as founder and CEO of 35 Thousand. Dr Lindsey Thomas spoke about female health and navigating through the minefield of experts and advice frequently circulated. Others spoke about nutrition, and lifestyle, and beauty.
And to top it all off, the evening ended with goodie bags included Nadira’s book “Press Here! Face Workouts for Beginners”, and an assortment of samples to enjoy.
Best part of the event is that they have managed to raise £150 for The Menopause charity. Congratulations to the wonderful organisers!
We left the evening relaxed, enlightened, and well-equipped to face the days (and weeks) ahead. If you’re anything like us, being constantly on the go and surrounded by chaos is the norm. And so for us, this event was just what the doctor had ordered. You can follow Nadira’s latest updates and events here.
