It’s official. Glossier is finally permanent in the UK, at its brand new home in London’s Covent Garden. Opening to the public on 9th December, describing this as an early Christmas miracle is certainly not far off from the sentiment of this entire city of Glossier fanatics. We took an eager peak on the eve of the launch to confirm that the news was not a mulled wine-infused dream.
The beloved skincare and beauty heavyweight has teased its British following with wildly popular popups and temporary outlets. Its Floral Street setup in 2019 saw cosmetics enthusiasts joining hour-long queues in their thousands just to catch a glimpse of the action.
Glossier has now taken over 43 King Street as its first ever international flagship to satisfy the resounding calls. The townhouse has been transformed into a signature pink paradise of Instagrammable moments, full of Glossier branding, large selfie-worthy mirrors, and a conveyor belt overflowing with gorgeous Glossier goodies.
The full range of permanent products, including GlossiWEAR, will be available to purchase, from the Lash Slick mascara to the Futuredew serum and Milky Jelly Cleanser. But there’s also exclusive UK merch to look forward to, like Glossier passport holders that are firmly on our Christmas lists.
On the hotness scale of London launches, this lands somewhere near the top, and we cannot wait for the city to discover Glossier in all its glory.
