Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama pop-up in Harrods

Following the success of the Dior Cafe pop-up over Christmas, Harrods has now launched a new pop-up with Louis Vuitton in collaboration with Yayoi Kusama, 10 years after they first joined forces for the first time. You may remember the revolutionary Japanese artist from her those huge polka-dot immersive artworks at the Tate in 2022.

The collection symbolises the LV’s most extensive collaboration with a fine artist to date. Brimming with joyful colour and print, it sees womenswear, menswear, accessories and even fragrance splashed with Kusama’s recognisable painted dots.

For the collaboration, Kusama's designs are being projected on Harrods' facade at night and two pop-ups have opened on the ground floor. Expect an immersive infinity room pop-up filled with an explosion of multicoloured painted dots. Inside they have an animatronic robot of Kusama herself, plus a claw machine arcade game, a special patisserie counter (selling a variety of pastries decorated with the artist’s signature surrealist dots) and £5k polka dot handbags for sale.
