Sunsets, Skylines & Serenity: Yoga Returns to Up at The O2
Londoners looking to elevate their wellness routine this spring are being offered the chance to do yoga in one of the capital’s most spectacular locations, as Up at The O2 launches its new Sunset Yoga Climb experience this May.
Combining mindfulness, movement and panoramic city views, the unique experience invites participants to climb to the roof of The O2 before taking part in a sunset yoga session high above the London skyline.
Taking place on Tuesday 12 May and Tuesday 19 May from 7pm, each event begins with a guided ascent to the summit of the iconic venue. Once at the top, guests will enjoy extended rooftop access and a 50-minute yoga class led by an expert instructor, all set against the backdrop of golden hour as the sun sets across the city.
Launching during Mental Health Awareness Month, the experience also supports an important cause. A portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will be donated to YoungMinds, The O2’s official charity partner and the UK’s leading mental health charity for children and young people.
Standing 52 metres above ground, Up at The O2 offers sweeping 360-degree views across Greenwich, Canary Wharf and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, creating a memorable setting for relaxation and reflection. Whether seasoned yogis or first-time participants, guests can expect a wellness experience unlike any other in London.
Tickets are priced at £50 per person and are available to book through the Up at The O2 website. O2 and Virgin Media customers can also access an additional 20 per cent discount through Priority. With only 20 spaces available per climb, advance booking is essential and organisers expect tickets to sell quickly.
All climbing and yoga equipment will be provided, while drinks can be pre-ordered or purchased on the day. The event is open to adults aged 18 and over.
Visitors can also make the most of everything The O2 has to offer before or after their climb. From activewear shopping with brands including adidas, New Balance and Nike, to wellness-focused stops such as Rituals, Clarins and Aatma Aesthetics, the venue continues to position itself as a destination for health, leisure and lifestyle. Dining options including Maki & Ramen, Chipotle and Hai Di Lao are also available on site.
Located just 15 minutes from central London and easily accessible by tube, road and river, The O2 remains one of the capital’s leading entertainment and lifestyle destinations.
